A great opportunity to climb the highest mountain in the UK during winter. This challenge is two days, and includes a winter skills day. No winter mountaineering experience is required. During the two days, you will learn all the winter skills you need to enable you to summit Ben Nevis in winter with a guide.

Great for beginners: The is great for beginners, and no winter mountaineering experience is required.
Fitness Level: Ben Nevis in winter is a big adventure, and you’ll want to be prepared with strong mountain fitness and confidence using your winter gear.
Duration: Two Days
Location: This weekend will take place in the stunning Scottish Highlands, primarily around the Fort William and Glencoe area on the West Coast.
Accommodation: We recommend you stay in the Fort William area.
Travelling to Scotland: Fort William has both train and bus stations. The nearest airports are in Glasgow and Inverness, you’ll find more reliable public transport connections from Glasgow.
Winter Rental: Renting winter equipment has never been easier! You’ll receive a complete winter kit list along with helpful advice and information about our rental gear. On the first day of your course, I’ll personally make sure you have everything you need and that your equipment is perfectly suited for your two-day adventure in the mountains.

No Guarantees: Your safety comes first! Climbing Ben Nevis in winter is not guaranteed. We will check in with the Avalanche Service, Mountain Weather Information Service to ensure we have clear passage. For your safety, we’ll offer an alternative Munro to explore.
