If lockdown has taught us anything, it as made us realise what’s on our doorstep and all the incredible British adventures we can enjoy without venturing abroad.
As well as offering guided daily hikes in the Lake District throughout the year, I am excited to announce I will be running a wonderful Lakeland Adventure Week in the beautiful Lake District this September. A wonderful five days immersed in the mountains with Four days of guided Lakeland hikes and scrambles. These epic routes could include Helvellyn via Striding Edge, Scafell Pike, Pavey Ark via Jack’s Rack and Blencathra via Sharp Edge.
To confirm your place on one of my Lakeland Hikes / Adventure Weeks drop me a message.
Is the highest mountain in England. Starting from sea level, we will start our ascent from Wasdale. A beautiful valley hike with beautiful coastal views. This is the shortest route, so a good choice for beginners.
This is a classic grade 1 ridge scramble in the Lake District, one of the most famous in the United Kingdom. It involves a reasonably sized ridge walk, with mainly simple moves and 1 short down climb.
Slicing across the face of Pavey Ark in the Langdale Pikes, Jack’s Rake is one of the Lake District’s most tempting little scrambles. Know for it’s steep exposure, this scramble requires technique.
Sharp Edge’s pulling power is boosted by its sheer visibility.
