This is a build on course from those that have completed at ‘Introduction to Navigation’
Effective compass skills, following a bearing and contour interpretation.
On the completion of this course you will be able to use a compass, follow a bearings and understand pacing and timing. Giving you the opportunity to practice these essential, life saving skills and build confidence.
Your day will include: Building on your Introduction to navigation course, interpreting contours, using a compass, taking and walking on a bearing, pacing and timing and route planning.

1 Day Improvers Navigation completed by a fully guided local Mountain Leader, certified in Outdoor First Aid.
