The best places to climb in Costa Blanca

My Top 10 favourite places to rock climb in Costa Blanca. We all crave dry rock and some Winter sun, in no particular order as they all have there own uniqueness. We visited these wonderful crags during the Winter months of November and December 2021, the perfect time to soak up some vitamin D.

  Gemma was very patient and thorough during my 1:1 outdoor rock climbing session. Gemma helped me to work on my climbing technique whilst enabling me to practise falls with support and guidance. If you are looking for a way into outdoor climbing then I would highly recommend reaching out to Gemma- a superb instructor & I can’t wait to have another session :)

  I couldn't recommend Gemma more highly. Due to bad weather we had to change the location of my hike, but thanks to Gemma's knowledge of the area and its geography she was able to choose a new location nearby (which turned out to be much better than the walk I had wanted to do). As well being a well experienced guide, her knowledge and passion for the area really add to the experience. For anyone thinking of exploring North Wales, Pembrokeshire or anywhere in the UK, and wanting to get the most out of the experience, then Gemma is without a doubt the best choice.   I can’t recommend Gemma highly enough.  She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient and just an all round lovely person.
I had a fantastic couple of days, learning navigation skills (something I thought was beyond me!) and scrambling up Tryfan- under Gemma’s guidance, it was such a wonderful experience in which I felt so safe.
I will definitely be booking Gemma again.  Thank you so much Gemma for  a wonderful 2 days .

  I can't thank Gemma enough! We had very limited availability but were accommodated beautifully according to our preferences. We did a sunrise hike of Snowdon from Llanberis, and despite some wet/windy conditions had a great laugh. Gemma was knowledgeable, easy to chat to and really in-tune with making sure we got the most from the experience. I can't wait to come back for some more!

  Gemma is a brilliant adventure guide and climbing instructor. I had the most amazing three days in Snowdonia, visiting Anglesey and climbing Holyhead and Snowdon. She even showed me the ropes in the indoor climbing centre. She was extremely encouraging, patient, professional and great fun. As a solo hiker it was lovely that she took some photos of/for me too so I can look back and remember summiting the highest mountain in Wales!

  I will get straight to the point, you should choose Gemma over anyone else, you will not be dissapointed!  This is my second time with Gemma.  First being up Tryfan which was amazing and this time did an entire week consisting of a 3 day adventure (Nantlle Ridge, Wild Rhinogs and Moelwyns Slate Trail), 1 day navigation course on Cadair Idris and lastly a day hike to Yr Wyddfa.

She is an absolutely fantastic ML, who has guided and taught me along the way on how to scramble safely, use a compass and map correctly, also along the way gave me other pointers regarding hiking equipment/gear, weather conditions etc.  Because of her knowledge, all the paths we went on were not only very quiet but gave you views of a different world.  She is calm, hilarious and very passionate about what she does best, communication was great, moves at a steady pace to yours.  If only there were more hours in the day.
